Isabelle Ringer #360
San Diego Derby Dolls
Isabelle Ringer joined the San Diego Derby Dolls in February of 2006 with plenty of sports in her background but little to no skating. After much training and dedication, she was drafted to her first flat track home team in 2007. She has played on both flat and banked track All-Star teams for San Diego Derby Dolls and captained San Diego's first banked track home team, the Swarm, in 2009.
As a member of the SDDD training team, Ringer has worked with many great skaters to learn and teach tons of rad skate skills and roller derby strategies. Skating for a bitraxual league has only added her ability to coach both banked and flat track techniques and strategies as well as teach flat track leagues how to apply their skills to the bank. Ringer specialized in breaking down the skate skills necessary to execute a technique and then building it up into roller derby game applications. Having spent many games, pivoting, blocking and jamming, Ringer has a diverse background of experience to share with skaters of every skill level.
She is currently an employee of Sin City Skates and gets off on geeking out on skate gear.
